What Am I Sending

Capture, inspect, and debug HTTP requests with instant endpoint generation — built for webhook testing, API debugging and request inspection.

What you can do here

What Am I Sending gives you a unique URL in one click. Send anything at it — a webhook from a third-party service, a test request from curl, a form post from your staging app — and every request is captured with its method, headers, query parameters and body.

Everything is inspectable straight away, and each captured request can be replayed as a ready-to-run cURL command. Captured requests are deleted automatically after 5 days, and an endpoint is deleted once it has been idle for 5 days. No account is required.

When to use it

  • Debugging a webhook from Stripe, GitHub, Slack or any service that needs a public callback URL
  • Checking exactly what headers and body your client really sends before you blame the server
  • Sharing a request with a teammate as a one-line cURL command
  • Testing retries, redirects and error handling against a status code you choose

Worked example

Input

curl -X POST https://whatamisending.dev/api/endpoint/abc123 -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"hello":"world"}'

Output

POST /endpoint/abc123
Content-Type: application/json

{"hello":"world"}

The request shows up in the endpoint view within a second, with its headers, body and a copyable cURL command.

Frequently asked questions

How do I test a webhook without a server?

Generate an endpoint URL, paste it into the webhook settings of the service you are integrating, then trigger the event. Open the endpoint page to see the method, headers, query parameters and body that arrived, and copy the request as cURL if you need to replay it.

How long are captured HTTP requests stored?

Captured requests are deleted automatically after 5 days, and an endpoint is deleted once it has been idle for 5 days. Nothing is kept permanently and there is no signup or account to clean up.

Do the encoding and hashing tools send my data anywhere?

No. The Base64, URL and XML encoders, the JSON/YAML converter and the hash generator all run entirely in your browser. Only requests you deliberately send to a generated endpoint URL are stored on the server.
